The Way of the World

William Congreve's play is a drama of sex, wealth, and schemes, and the idea was to visually represent the sexuality and opulence of the piece through the bright and luscious mural of fruit and meat, while above towers a weblike cage structure that represents the scheming grasps of the key antagonist.
