With our Don G, Martin and I wanted to create an abstracted vision of Donald Trump's corrupted New York, where Don Giovanni flits from high-end restaurant to cheap salon, to nightclub as he navigates a world of hypocritically repressive norms as an open hedonist. We sought to leave the question of right and wrong open-ended, and I worked to create a space of revolving walls that would allow one scene to move swiftly into another in an endless, adrenaline-fueled night of searching for answers that never materialise.
